Rodent Control

The house mouse is remarkably well adapted for living in homes, food establishments and all kind of other structures. Mice are more likely to be noticed in the winter because of there fall migration searching for warmth and food, and shelter. Most people find mice less offensive then rats, when the real fact is mice are more common and can cause more damage and produce 6-10 litters in the course of a year. The greatest economic loss is not due to how much they eat, but what must be thrown out because of contamination such as food, clothing, furniture, books and many other items in homes and businesses. They contaminate multiple things in part by their droppings and urine, they also gnaw on electrical wiring, which can potentially cause fires, and transmit diseases most notably (salmonella poisoning) which is a bacterial disease because food becomes contaminated by there rodent feces. Mice are nocturnal and are rarely seen by people the most obvious signs are there droppings, sounds of gnawing or squeaking, or damage to food or other items. Compared to rats, mice forage only short distances about 10-25 feet to to find food and water, they travel adjacent to walls and other edges to find there way to food and back to there nesting sights.
